Today is the first day of school for many and although not officially the last day of summer the weather is showing signs of change. We may still experience some Indian summer days but there may not be much beach time left. I am personally sad to see summer come to an end because it really passed by far too quickly.
I love the autumn months, but summer is oh so sweet. The monarch butterflies have been frantically visiting my butterfly bushes and enjoying their last tastes of the sweet nectar. I did take one last lake swim, but most of the weekend was too cold for swimming.
